Project Scope
Word of Life Fellowship is strategically ministering in 80 countries, bringing the life-changing truth of the Word of God to the youth of the world. Word of Life Uganda began in 2003, housed in the servants quarters of the local ministry director's house. By 2005, they began praying for God to provide a new, larger property to accommodate the growth of their International School they'd started. Today, they own a 20-acre parcel of land where Phase 1 construction of the school and youth camp is underway and due for completion by the end of the year. The school is already open and houses 150 students, grades pre-K to 8.
The remaining land on the site has been set aside for a discipleship training center, completion of the youth camp facilities, and expansion of the school to a full K-12 population. WOL will use these facilities to achieve their bigger goal of evangelizing and discipling the youth of Uganda and to train up leaders to build and strengthen the church of Jesus Christ. They look forward to continuing and expanding their current programs of bible clubs, sports outreach, camping ministries (for youth, father-son, high school, college, pastors, etc.) pastoral conferences and music outreach.
We need an EMI team of engineers and architects to: prepare a Phase II master plan that pulls the many site functions together; provide full design of the initial Phase II buildings; develop the engineering systems necessary to accommodate the high volume of people. Would you consider joining the team to design a facility that will provide much needed discipleship to hundreds of Ugandan Christians and help bring the gospel of Christ to thousands of Ugandan children, each year?
